24/7 Prayer is an initiative at Calvary to take every hour of the week and cover it in prayer with believers from all over the world.
You can partner with others and choose an hour any day of the week to pray! You'll receive focus prayer points through email when you sign up to target each week in prayer!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SIGNING UP FOR 60-MINUTE PRAYER REMINDERS USING “TEXT MESSAGES”
Step 1: You will receive a 60-minute Prayer Sign-up Reminder via email asking you to allow text messaging.
Step 2: If you agree, click on “Opt-In to Text Messages.”
Step 3: Click “OK” to Sign Up to receive a “Text Message Reminder to Pray.”
Step 4: You will then be asked to enter your “name” and “cellphone number”.
Step 5: You will receive a “Verification Code” via text message.
Step 6: Return to your original Sign-Up Genius email and enter the provided “verification code”. Simply enter the code.
Step 7. You will then receive a text message inviting you to Sign-Up for the 60 Minute Prayer Reminder.
Step 8: Click on the Genius Sign Up Link (for example: www.sugenius/Wfku.com) and view the Sign-Up page. Choose your desired prayer time slot.
Step 9: NOTE: You do not have to create a “Genius Sign Up” account and password to sign up for Text messages.
Step 10: If you choose not to receive Sign-Up Prayer Reminders via email or text, please email the church at calvary@calvaryassembly.org , or call the church, 256-355-7440, and provide your chosen “day and time slot to pray. Your chosen time will then be manually added to the Genius Sign Up. (NOTE: Your cellphone number will be kept private).
The ultimate objective is to cover our church, pastors and leaders, nation, families, schools, and our businesses with prayer. To accomplish this, we need to fill all 168 prayer slots on the Genius Sign-up Sheets and therefore cover every day, every hour, every minute, and every second with concentrated prayer. You are encouraged to invite your relatives, friends, co-workers and other believers to help us fill these Prayer Slots. (Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV).
